I really love this. There's just so much about it. The details are so thoughtful and layered and really appeal to the imagination, like the figures in the background behind George, and the heart-shaped leaf echoing the smoke heart, and how the colours on Luna's side of the painting are so vibrant and it's like they're pulling George in. And there's something about their expressions that I can't even put my finger on, but they're lovely and draw me into the scene as much as anything else. I've had a look back through your journal and think I fell in love a bit with your drawing/painting style! (The Luna and the Bill-Charlie pictures are fantastic).

I really like the way you've done Luna, her hair, her eyes (as someone else said) and also.... I like the background people. They're there.... but so unobtrusive that you really get the impression of them rather than actual people.

Ah, Georgie, I think Luna's a better choice than Angelina. Besides, she's probably the only person who wouldn't find the garish clothes and general nutty behaviour to be abnormal ;)

Oh! Go, you! You noticed his ear patch. Wasn't sure if it was clear. I immediately had this image of him wearing a very glittery eye patch over his ear after I read the book. :)
