I'm so glad you like it. You always say such nice things I just felt like drawing Sirius for you. Plus it gave me a reason to do portraits which are my favs.

Do you use layers? I have no idea how to paint with them and am thinking of taking a class. I tend to just paint like I would on a normal canvas, but layers always look so sharp and vibrant.

The piercing was a last minute add on....he just didn't look "rebel" enough without it. Silly really, as I doubt they did such things back then. ;)

Lately I don't even use line art, just start with a blob (mostly with faces, I need some direction with anything below the neck) When I did use line art it was pretty minimal as I'm always anxious to get to the fun part :) Plus, I'm not good with movement. That pic you did with James on the back of Sirius' motorbike, his hands reaching out for flight...that is incredible movement. Makes me feel the wind.

This is stunning! I really can't look away. Their skin is so youthful looking. (Those were the days!) Their eyes are mesmerizing and Sirius is sticking his chin out and glaring at me for the way I'm looking at Moony's mouth.....

Wow, this is excellent work.

I love the lighting you have used and the attention to detail is amazing. Particularly well done are Remus's subtle scars and the eyes of both of them.

Thank you. I love doing portraits so much because I get to concentrate more on the eyes. They make the character come alive. :)

OMG, *showers love*. This is so mesmerising. I love the way the light falls over their faces. It's as if we've stumbled in on them in the closet/classroom/bedroom. I love, love, love, love Sirius' eyes. That's the most incredible colour. What inspired the tattoo?

remus' scars are amazing. subtle yet perfect. His eyes are soft...a great contrast to Black's sharp look. The eyebrow ring is hott, so it the tattoo. And the dark lips and cheeks... such a great match to Remus' solf skin, lips and hair. I could go on and on about this. I'm so impressed.

Got on DW and was messing around and I saw this. It's beautiful. I love the coloring. Details, squee at the piercing and tat on Sirius. They look gorgeous and the scars on Remus are a nice touch.
